Wow, oils are going to take some getting used to again. I haven't worked with them in over 10 years. They don't work anything like pastels - which is what I'm used to.
It has been super helpful looking at other artists work. Two of my favorite artist bloggers are Carol Marine and Michael Naples.

Your use of color is wonderful.
Thanks bj. It's funny, when I was in college I usually did black and white graphite drawings because I was afraid of color. I got over it!
