Ugh, I didn't want to post this. But it is what I painted yesterday so here ya go. I like to challenge myself and not just stick with what I know but man, this is so bad!Here are some beautiful landscapes by Christopher Greco. (They're much easier on the eyes!)

You're crazy! This is so not "so bad"!! I really like how you painted the road and the big green trees. Landscapes are the hardest thing in the world for me to paint. I think this is pretty good, and if you tried another one it would probably be even better!
Thanks Sarah! I need the encouragement. When I look back at the still life paintings I did several months ago, I can see improvement. So I imagine I'll get better at landscapes too if I keep at it. I just hate posting something I dislike so much!

I agree, this is not bad at all. I especially like the shadows in the dark tree. I think it's great you're trying new things.
