"Cup-a-Joe"I usually paint on 6"x8" canvas covered panels from RayMar. This is on a 6"x6" stretched canvas that I've had in my studio for awhile. I like the panels better.
I sometimes worry that the bright colors I use "carry" a piece. I tried to keep this one more subdued and true to life.

Brendy--I know what you mean about staying up late with planning to do so. I wanted you to know that the comment you left on my blog felt like the biggest compliment in a long time. ((thank you)). I am a dilletante: crafty/artsy person, therapist, reader, knitter, wife, mother, former librarian-- and my entries reflect that. I like your cup of Joe... and will see about getting similar sized canvases so I can get the courage to do painting daily.
