"Child's Play"

I painted this one a while back and liked it so much that I wasn't ready to part with it right away.

No new painting today (or the past 2 days). I have the flu. I tried to paint today but I was just too worn out.

Available: $100 + $10 shipping. Or send me an e-mail.

Sorry about your flu. There is DEFIITELY something unpleasant going around. What red did you use in this painting? Alizarin? Plus something else? LOVELY with the blue (and polka dots!!)

Thanks! I did this awhile ago so I don't remember what I used for the red.

There are so many good painters who are cranking out one stunning work after another it sometimes makes me feel like a slacker ;)
Painting has to be fun and not work for me. I will say that I'm much more productive since I began blogging.

I really like this one too! The cup and saucer have a solid presence yet are playful because of the dots. Your colors are fabulous - the blue against that particular red. Also love the way this is painted - your assured brush strokes. So glad to have discovered your art!
